ATA Services, Inc. is looking for a Human Resources Specialist for Hawaii's State Hospital. This role is full-time and long-term. Please review the job details listed below:

Non-Exempt Hourly Rate: $27.68

Hours: Mon-Fri. 8 am – 4:30 pm

Scope of Work

Requires knowledge of applicable State laws, rules and regulations, policies and procedures pertaining to the enforcement of personnel matters in the areas of position classification, workers’ compensation, labor relations, and recruitment and placement.

General Job Duties

(1) Recruitment and placement

(2) Provide consultation, advice, technical assistance, and necessary tasks related to Workers’ Compensation requirements and benefits.

(3) Performs tasks related to Position Classification.

(4) Supervise and instruct subordinate personnel.

(5) Labor relations

(6) Other duties as assigned.

Minimum education

Graduation from an accredited four (4) year college or university with a bachelor’s degree. Experience and/or excess specialized work experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.

Minimum experience

One (1) year of work experience which required knowledge and application of pertinent human resources rules, regulations, procedures, and program requirements.
