HR Generalist
We are looking for an HR Generalist to support full-cycle recruiting and employee onboarding for a growing organization in Louisiana. This role will play a key part in attracting experienced talent, coordinating hiring activities, and maintaining organized HR records and systems. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in talent acquisition, HR administration, and employee support within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with hiring managers to clarify staffing priorities, compensation expectations, and role requirements for open positions.
• Develop and carry out recruitment plans that align with operational goals and current workforce demands.
• Draft and manage job postings across appropriate channels, adjusting content and visibility based on market conditions.
• Maintain accurate candidate information within the HRIS and applicant tracking system to support an efficient hiring process.
• Build talent pipelines by identifying, engaging, and screening both active applicants and passive candidates.
• Coordinate interview logistics and guide candidates and interview teams through multiple stages of the selection process.
• Assess applicants’ experience and fit through structured conversations and evaluation methods to identify the best match for each role.
• Work with department leaders to prepare and present employment offers and support offer acceptance steps.
• Administer pre-employment activities such as background reviews, reference checks, screening requirements, and related documentation.
• Lead onboarding tasks to create a positive and organized start for new employees while supporting a strong candidate network for future hiring needs.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources, recruiting, or a related HR generalist function.• Hands-on knowledge of full-cycle talent acquisition, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Experience working with HRIS platforms and applicant tracking systems to manage employee and candidate records.
• Familiarity with core HR administration processes, including pre-employment coordination and new employee support.
• Understanding of benefit-related functions and general HR operations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple openings and priorities at once.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with hiring managers and other stakeholders in a service-driven environment.
Compensation
