Trial Attorney Opportunity | Up to $250K Base + Bonus
Direct hire | Compensation up to $250,000 DOE | California residence and active CA Bar required
Robert Half Legal is working with a prominent plaintiff-side consumer warranty practice seeking a Trial Attorney to join its litigation team. This position is ideal for an attorney with solid civil litigation experience who wants meaningful courtroom exposure, hands-on trial involvement, and the chance to grow within a busy, well-established practice.
What You’ll Do
- Take ownership of core litigation responsibilities, including motion practice and trial readiness
- Appear in court for hearings and related proceedings across California
- Oversee discovery efforts, including managing disputes and helping shape discovery strategy
- Partner with lead trial counsel on pretrial development and in-court execution
- Assist in formulating litigation strategy from case inception through verdict
- Serve in a first- or second-chair trial capacity, depending on level of experience
Qualifications:
What We’re Looking For
- Active membership in the California State Bar
- Must live in California and be open to travel statewide for court matters
- At least 3 years of civil litigation experience
- Demonstrated strength in discovery, motions, and trial prep
- Comfortable stepping into a high-volume, fast-moving litigation environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary up to $250,000+ depending on experience
