Jr. Paralegal

We are looking for a detail-oriented Jr. Paralegal to support legal operations in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This Contract position is ideal for a candidate with at least 1 year of experience assisting with plaintiff personal injury matters in a fast-paced legal environment. The individual in this role will help prepare legal documentation, organize case materials, and contribute to the timely handling of pleadings and related filings.

Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys with preparing, reviewing, and organizing documents related to intellectual property and civil litigation matters.

• Draft legal correspondence, case documents, and supporting materials with accuracy and attention to deadlines.

• Coordinate the filing of pleadings and other legal papers while maintaining compliance with court and procedural requirements.

• Maintain and update case files, ensuring records are complete, accessible, and properly tracked.

• Conduct basic legal research and gather supporting information to aid case preparation and document development.

• Monitor schedules, filing dates, and litigation milestones to help keep matters progressing on time.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of paralegal experience in a law firm or legal department environment.
• Exposure to intellectual property matters and civil litigation support work.
• Working knowledge of pleadings, legal terminology, and court-related documentation.
• Experience drafting legal documents, correspondence, and case support materials.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to detail and discretion.

Compensation

$24.00-$27.00 Hourly
