Sr. Accountant
My client is well established General Contractor in NYC. They have been rapidly growing year over year for several years and continue to have a strong and healthy outlook.
The CFO is building out their Corporate Accounting/GL team and is looking to hire a Senior Accountant to the team.
This will be a high exposure role working with the CFO and Corporate Controller, partnering with the Project Controller and their team.
As always, these are permanent, full time, fully benefited salaried positions (these are NOT temp, or temp to perm).
They are located in Midtown, 4 days in with 1 day remote.
Potentially for the right candidate (based on experience) may give it a Manager title.
Compensation is based on experience:
The range is between $120k - $150k base + discretionary bonus
The role will cover:
- Producing all three financial statements
- Supporting the month end close
- Bank reconciliations, journal entries
- Supporting the AP/AR team
- Sage 300 or Intaact is a huge +
Who are you?
- Experience in the construction space is a +
- Corporate accounting, focusing on the GL, consolidations, reporting, month end
- Highly proficient in Excel (Pivot tables etc.)
- A minimum of a BA/BS in Accounting from a top accredited school
- 4+ years of experience.
Exceptional communications skills are required. A great dynamic personality and the ability to work along your fellow colleagues is crucial. He or she must be able to effectively collaborate with individuals both inside and outside the company.
