Product Manager
Responsibilities:
• Define product priorities and turn business needs into a clear roadmap, well-scoped requirements, and actionable delivery plans.
• Work closely with engineers and external development partners to shape technical solutions, review tradeoffs, and keep execution aligned with product goals.
• Lead backlog refinement and sprint planning activities using Jira to support efficient Agile delivery and timely feature releases.
• Manage products that depend on APIs, data models, search, recommendation, or matching logic, ensuring functionality is reliable and valuable for users.
• Establish analytics and event tracking approaches that support measurement, experimentation, and ongoing product improvement.
• Use data, stakeholder input, and delivery constraints to make prioritization decisions and keep initiatives on schedule.
• Oversee third-party vendors or agencies by setting expectations around scope, timelines, and quality standards.
• Document decisions, communicate updates clearly, and build alignment across cross-functional stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience managing and launching technical products, ideally within a high-growth or startup setting.• Strong technical understanding of system architecture, APIs, data structures, and software development workflows, including the ability to engage directly with engineers.
• Practical knowledge of product work involving search, recommendation, matching, or other machine learning-informed experiences.
• Comfort working with analytics, event instrumentation, experimentation, and data interpretation to guide product decisions.
• Proven ability to manage delivery scope, scheduling, and quality when working with external vendors or agency partners.
• Hands-on experience with Agile Scrum practices, backlog grooming, bug tracking, and Jira-based execution.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce clear documentation and align diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with SQL, API-focused products, and modern AI-enabled productivity tools.
Compensation
