IT Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to support application development initiatives within the sales and logistics domain in Southern California. This Long-term Contract position requires a hands-on leader who can guide multiple concurrent projects, align business and technical teams, and keep deliverables moving in a mixed Agile and Waterfall environment. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, sound financial and schedule oversight, and the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors in a largely onsite setting.

Responsibilities:

• Direct several IT projects at the same time, maintaining focus on scope, timing, budget, and delivery milestones.

• Lead working sessions with business partners and technical teams to define objectives, clarify priorities, and drive informed decisions.

• Build and maintain project documentation, including business cases, delivery plans, resource needs, and key dependencies.

• Monitor project health through regular status reporting, executive updates, and clear communication of progress across weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews.

• Identify risks, track issues, and coordinate mitigation plans to reduce impact on delivery commitments.

• Prepare and manage change requests, testing coordination, and user training materials to support successful implementation.

• Develop statements of work, oversee vendor contributions, and ensure third-party deliverables meet project expectations.

• Coordinate tasks and timelines across multiple enterprise teams to keep interdependent workstreams aligned.

• Create presentation materials for leadership that summarize project status, challenges, and recommended next steps.

Qualifications:

• At least 8 years of experience leading application development projects and 10 years of overall IT experience.
• Background in the automotive industry, with familiarity in sales and logistics-related business environments.
• Demonstrated experience working in both Agile and Waterfall delivery models within hybrid project settings.
• SAFe Agile knowledge and Scrum Master experience are required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while working with cross-functional teams across the enterprise.
• Proficiency with Clarity, Open Workbench, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to business and executive audiences.
• Experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in application development is considered a plus.

Compensation

$62.00-$65.00 Hourly
