Plant Manager

We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead a manufacturing facility in Smithville, Tennessee. This individual will oversee Production, Engineering, Quality, EHS, Finance, and Human Resources while driving operational performance, continuous improvement, and employee safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead all plant operations and ensure safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives are achieved.

• Manage facility financial performance, including P& L, budgeting, capital expenditures, and annual operating plans.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, BOS, TVM, and other operational excellence tools.

• Develop and monitor key performance metrics while partnering with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

• Lead, develop, and mentor plant personnel, including succession planning and workforce development.

• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 7-10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably within the automotive industry.

• Experience leading cross-functional teams across production, engineering, quality, and operations.

• Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and plant safety initiatives.

• Knowledge of ISO/TS quality systems and ERP platforms.

• Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets, capital projects, and operational performance.

• Familiarity with QAD is a plus.
