Sr Business Excellence Partner
We are looking for a Sr Business Excellence Partner to lead meaningful operational improvements across teams in Schaumburg, Illinois. In this role, you will assess how work is performed, identify barriers that affect efficiency and service quality, and develop practical solutions that deliver measurable business value. You will work closely with business leaders, frontline employees, and cross-functional partners to turn complex challenges into structured plans that improve performance, customer experience, and scalability.
Location:Schaumburg, hybrid (3 days onsite, Wednesday in office is required)
Compensation Range: $120k-160k + 15% bonus potential

Responsibilities:
• Identify recurring operational inefficiencies by working with business leaders and frontline teams, then convert findings into clear problem definitions, root-cause assessments, and estimated business impact.
• Evaluate opportunities using performance measures such as turnaround time, cost, accuracy, capacity, compliance, and customer experience to support informed prioritization decisions.
• Develop and maintain an improvement roadmap for assigned functions, ensuring initiatives are aligned with business objectives and practical execution plans.
• Redesign processes, decision flows, handoffs, and team routines to improve consistency, reduce manual effort, and strengthen service delivery.
• Collaborate with Analytics, IT, Product, and operations partners to define business needs and support solution design through documentation, process mapping, testing, and rollout preparation.
• Pilot proposed changes, gather stakeholder feedback, and monitor performance results to confirm effectiveness before broader implementation.
• Take ownership of outcome delivery by setting baselines, establishing success metrics, and tracking results after launch to verify sustained value.
• Communicate project status, risks, decisions, and realized benefits to stakeholders while supporting long-term adoption of new ways of working.
• Lead working sessions, process reviews, and continuous improvement events that encourage teams to solve problems collaboratively and build operational discipline.
• Use data, dashboards, and analytical insights to uncover trends, measure performance, and support automation or workflow enhancement opportunities.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in process improvement, operational transformation, or business optimization within complex service or transaction-driven environments.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification with demonstrated experience leading Kaizen or similar continuous improvement workshops.
• Strong capability in business analysis, gap assessment, workflow redesign, and structured problem-solving in cross-functional settings.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, and project planning tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or comparable platforms.
• Experience working with enterprise applications such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, or similar systems is advantageous.
• Ability to interpret data and performance trends using reporting or analytics tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, or related platforms.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decisions and drive adoption across multiple teams.
Compensation
