Corporate Paralegal
A telecommunications company in Memphis is seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join its legal team on an immediate basis. This individual will support business operations by partnering closely with internal stakeholders, including the sales team and vendors, while assisting with a variety of corporate, contract, compliance, and regulatory matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, redline, and assist in the negotiation of commercial contracts and vendor agreements.
- Partner with internal sales teams to facilitate timely contract execution and address contract-related inquiries.
- Track and manage contracts throughout the entire lifecycle, including maintaining organized records and monitoring key dates and obligations.
- Conduct legal and regulatory research to support business initiatives and compliance requirements.
- Assist with corporate compliance efforts and help ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Prepare and obtain corporate filings and certificates from various Secretary of State offices.
- Coordinate the collection of wet signatures and execution of legal documents as needed.
- Develop and deliver presentations and training materials to internal teams regarding contract processes, requirements, and best practices.
- Maintain accurate legal documentation and support the day-to-day operations of the legal department.
Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience as a Corporate Paralegal or in a comparable in-house legal support role.
- Experience reviewing and redlining commercial contracts.
- Familiarity with corporate governance and Secretary of State filings.
- Strong understanding of compliance principles and legal research methodologies.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and DocuSign.
