Dispatcher

We are looking for a Dispatcher to coordinate daily delivery activity for customers across construction, residential, and commercial projects in Westfield, Indiana. This position focuses on organizing routes, aligning schedules, and keeping drivers, customers, and internal teams informed throughout the delivery process. The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive under changing conditions, and able to keep operations moving efficiently while maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:
• Organize and assign daily deliveries to drivers based on route demands, timing, and order priority.
• Build practical delivery plans by considering destination, product readiness, and driver availability.
• Share schedule details, changes, and important updates with drivers, customers, and partner teams in a timely manner.
• Work closely with yard, warehouse, and production personnel to confirm materials are prepared before dispatch.
• Track deliveries throughout the day and respond quickly to delays, conflicts, or other transportation issues.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation for delivery activity, driver information, and schedule adjustments.
• Provide customers with estimated arrival times, delivery confirmations, and ongoing status communication.
• Answer incoming requests related to scheduling, order revisions, and time-sensitive delivery needs.

Qualifications:

• Experience coordinating delivery schedules, dispatch activity, or transportation planning in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while keeping daily schedules accurate and organized.
• Strong communication skills for working with drivers, customers, and cross-functional operations teams.
• Familiarity with routing considerations for construction, residential, or commercial delivery environments.
• Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly when schedules or delivery needs change.
• Attention to detail when maintaining logs, delivery records, and scheduling updates.
• Proficiency with dispatching processes and general administrative or operational tracking tools.

Compensation

$40,000.00-$45,000.00 Yearly
