Medical Receptionist
Responsibilities:
• Welcome patients and visitors, provide courteous assistance, and maintain an organized reception area throughout the day.
• Manage appointment calendars, schedule patient visits, and adjust bookings as needed to support clinic operations.
• Handle patient check-in procedures, verify basic information, and direct individuals to the appropriate next steps.
• Answer incoming calls, respond to routine questions, and route messages to clinical or administrative staff when necessary.
• Perform front office administrative tasks such as preparing forms, updating records, and supporting daily office workflow.
• Use basic medical terminology appropriately when communicating about appointments, services, and general office processes.
• Assist with patient-facing documentation and help ensure information is entered accurately into office systems.
Qualifications:
• Experience working in a medical front office or similar healthcare reception environment.• Ability to perform core receptionist duties with professionalism, accuracy, and strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with patient scheduling and front-desk coordination in a clinical setting.
• Working knowledge of basic medical terminology.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills when interacting with patients and staff.
• Comfortable using office systems, managing multiple tasks, and staying organized in a busy environment.
Compensation
