Office Assistant
We are looking for a dependable Office Assistant to support daily administrative and front-desk operations for a time-sensitive project in Gramercy, Louisiana. This is a contract position expected to last up to 2 months, making it ideal for someone who can quickly step in and stay focused on meeting deadlines. The person in this role will help keep office workflows organized by managing calls, handling document processing, and completing essential clerical tasks with accuracy.
Responsibilities:
• Welcome visitors and provide front-desk support while maintaining a detail-focused and organized office environment.
• Answer incoming calls, direct inquiries appropriately, and relay messages in a timely manner.
• Scan, file, and organize business documents to support accurate recordkeeping and easy retrieval.
• Perform routine administrative work such as data entry, document preparation, and general clerical support.
• Maintain vendor files and ensure records are updated, complete, and properly stored.
• Assist with office documentation and system-related tasks as needed to help complete a high-priority project on schedule.
• Use SAP and other office systems to enter, track, and manage information accurately.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in an office assistant, receptionist, or administrative support role.• Proficiency in scanning documents, data entry, and general clerical functions.
• Ability to manage inbound calls professionally and communicate clearly with internal and external contacts.
• Experience maintaining organized files and handling detailed administrative records.
• Familiarity with SAP or the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay productive in a deadline-driven environment.
• Reliable attendance and the ability to commit to a contract assignment of up to 2 months.
Compensation
