AP Specialist

Are you an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist with expertise in NetSuite? Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy professional to support accounts payable functions for one of our clients. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency with NetSuite, exceptional organizational skills, and a solid understanding of accounting processes. Responsibilities:

• Process high-volume invoices in NetSuite, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies. Based on general knowledge.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner. Based on general knowledge.
• Manage vendor relationships, including maintaining accurate vendor records and reconciling vendor statements. Based on general knowledge.
• Generate and process payments via checks, ACH, and wires through NetSuite’s Accounts Payable module. Based on general knowledge.
• Assist with the implementation and optimization of NetSuite functionalities to improve workflow efficiencies. Based on general knowledge.
• Prepare accounts payable reports, including aging reports, and assist with audit preparation and requests. Based on general knowledge.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes by reconciling accounts payable balances and preparing relevant schedules. Based on general knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and all applicable regulations. Based on general knowledge.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience, with demonstrated expertise using NetSuite. Based on general knowledge.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and full-cycle accounts payable processes. Based on general knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience. Based on general knowledge.
• Advanced proficiency with NetSuite and Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables preferred. Based on general knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Based on general knowledge.
• Keen attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Based on general knowledge.
• Ability to adapt to evolving processes and thrive in collaborative team settings. Based on general knowledge.
