Purchasing Specialist

We are partnering with a well-established organization in the Mechanicsburg area that is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to support day-to-day procurement operations. This role will work closely with vendors, internal teams, and accounting to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing of materials and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Issue and manage purchase orders to support operational needs
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate reordering of materials
• Compare pricing, negotiate terms, and ensure cost efficiency
• Track orders, resolve discrepancies, and ensure on-time delivery
• Partner with accounting to support invoice matching and processing
• Maintain accurate records of purchasing activity and vendor files

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems preferred
