Litigation Attorney

A plaintiff-side firm specializing in asbestos litigation is seeking a fully remote Litigation Attorney to support an influx of work on an ongoing contract basis. This is a high-volume role requiring strong litigation fundamentals and the ability to step in and contribute immediately. The team is looking for someone comfortable handling law and motion and discovery in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and respond to law and motion in asbestos litigation matters
• Handle written discovery, including propounding and responding to discovery requests
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda and correspondence
• Manage a high-volume caseload with competing deadlines
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to move cases forward efficiently
• Ensure all work is compliant with California procedural rules and deadlines

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• Active California Bar license required
• Prior experience litigating in California courts required
• Strong law and motion and discovery experience in a litigation setting
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload with attention to detail and deadlines
• Plaintiff-side litigation experience strongly preferred
• No asbestos defense experience
• Comfortable working fully remote and independently while staying responsive to the team
