Litigation Attorney
A plaintiff-side firm specializing in asbestos litigation is seeking a fully remote Litigation Attorney to support an influx of work on an ongoing contract basis. This is a high-volume role requiring strong litigation fundamentals and the ability to step in and contribute immediately. The team is looking for someone comfortable handling law and motion and discovery in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and respond to law and motion in asbestos litigation matters
- Handle written discovery, including propounding and responding to discovery requests
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda and correspondence
- Manage a high-volume caseload with competing deadlines
- Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to move cases forward efficiently
- Ensure all work is compliant with California procedural rules and deadlines
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Active California Bar license required
- Prior experience litigating in California courts required
- Strong law and motion and discovery experience in a litigation setting
- Ability to manage a high-volume workload with attention to detail and deadlines
- Plaintiff-side litigation experience strongly preferred
- No asbestos defense experience
- Comfortable working fully remote and independently while staying responsive to the team
Compensation
