Front Desk Coordinator
About the Role
Robert Half is partnering with a mission-driven nonprofit organization seeking a professional and customer-focused Front Desk Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and community partners. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and is passionate about supporting an organization that makes a positive impact in the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and vendors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and general inquiries
- Manage front desk operations and maintain a welcoming reception area
- Coordinate meeting room scheduling and assist with event logistics as needed
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems
- Provide administrative support including data entry, document preparation, and reporting
- Assist with client intake processes and ensure confidential information is handled appropriately
- Order and monitor office supplies and support day-to-day office operations
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and workflow
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- 2+ years of receptionist, front desk, customer service, or administrative support experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to changing needs
- Professional demeanor and commitment to providing exceptional service
- Experience working within a nonprofit, education, healthcare, or community-focused organization is a plus

Compensation
