Job Summary
The Patient Services Coordinator Senior will oversee patient flow and clinic operations in the Gastroenterology, Endocrinology and Nephrology clinics in the Department of Internal Medicine. Primary Responsibilities include: work with practice manager and physician team leader to achieve optimal teamwork and operational excellence, supervise, schedule and train staff, monitor and evaluate performance, and provide oversight of registration and scheduling functions.

This Patient Services Coordinator Senior position in Medicine Specialties oversees PRA and PSC staff, manages day to day operations in clinic and helps to monitor. Epic function relating to daily operations. This position also provides coverage of clerical and clinical staff positions, implements process improvements and strives for high customer satisfaction and quality care.

Preferred Education/Experience
Associate’s degree or equivalent experience. Experience with medical front office tasks such as registration, scheduling, and customer service. Leadership or supervision experience is preferred but not required.
