Field Service Technician
Responsibilities:
• Travel to assigned office locations to carry out after-hours hardware refresh and deployment activities.
• Remove existing equipment and install replacement devices such as desktop systems, monitors, printers, scanners, camera towers, and signature pads.
• Pick up equipment, transport it safely, and load or unload materials needed for each scheduled deployment.
• Prepare devices for installation and confirm that hardware is properly placed, connected, and ready for next-day operational use.
• Support morning go-live readiness following overnight deployments and address any immediate hardware-related issues.
• Visit storage sites on a recurring basis to manage equipment inventory and maintain deployment materials.
• Coordinate travel between locations, including overnight stays and weekend travel, based on the rollout schedule.
• Follow project compliance requirements, including completion of background screening, fingerprinting, and credit checks.
Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience with hardware installation, replacement, or desktop deployment activities.• Ability to work 20 to 25 hours per week, primarily during evening or after-hours schedules.
• Willingness to travel to multiple sites and stay overnight when needed for project coverage.
• Comfortable lifting, moving, loading, and unloading computer and peripheral equipment.
• Familiarity with devices such as desktops, monitors, printers, scanners, and related hardware.
• Valid ability to travel independently and work across changing field locations.
• Ability to pass required background checks, fingerprinting, and credit screening.
• Strong reliability, time management, and communication skills in a field support environment.
