Sr. Financial Analyst -PSO Revenue Finance

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst to support PSO Revenue Finance in San Francisco, California. This Contract position will partner closely with business stakeholders to deliver financial insights, strengthen forecasting accuracy, and guide revenue-related decision-making. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical judgment, advanced modeling capability, and the ability to turn complex data into clear recommendations.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain financial models that evaluate revenue performance, support planning activities, and inform strategic business decisions.
• Perform detailed variance reviews to identify trends, explain performance drivers, and highlight risks or opportunities across revenue-related metrics.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance, respond to business questions, and support ongoing revenue finance initiatives.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis using large and varied data sets to address emerging priorities and deliver timely decision support.
• Gather, organize, and interpret financial and operational data to produce accurate reporting and actionable business insights.
• Translate analytical findings into concise presentations and recommendations for finance leaders and key stakeholders.
• Improve reporting approaches and analytical processes to increase efficiency, consistency, and visibility into revenue performance.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in financial analysis within a corporate finance, revenue finance, or related environment.
• Strong financial modeling skills with the ability to build, refine, and interpret complex business scenarios.
• Hands-on experience performing variance analysis and explaining results to finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Proficiency in ad hoc financial analysis, including the ability to manage shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
• Ability to apply data mining techniques to uncover trends, validate assumptions, and support fact-based recommendations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across business functions.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, well-supported financial insights.

Compensation

$52.25-$60.50 Hourly
