Customer Service Representative
Our client in the Canton, Connecticut is seeking a Customer Service Representative for a contract opportunity. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt, professional support to customers via phone, email, and other communication channels
- Respond to inquiries related to orders, products, account information, and service issues
- Resolve customer concerns efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
- Enter and update customer information accurately in internal systems
- Process orders, track shipments, and coordinate with internal departments as needed
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and follow-up activities
- Support general administrative and customer service functions as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service experience required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and customer service/order entry systems
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or office environment
- Comfortable handling a high volume of customer interactions
- Strong data entry and multitasking abilities
Compensation
