Executive Assistant
Robert Half is partnering with a respected nonprofit organization to identify an experienced Executive Assistant to support the CEO and executive leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and serving as a trusted partner to senior leadership.
Position Overview
The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to the CEO and executive team while helping ensure the smooth operation of executive office functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, professional, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the CEO and executive leadership team
- Manage executive calendars, meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
- Draft correspondence, reports, presentations, and other business documents
- Maintain confidential records and sensitive information
- Coordinate leadership, board, and committee meetings, including agenda preparation, meeting materials, and minutes
- Organize and maintain contracts, files, and important organizational documents
- Assist with special projects, grant submissions, and reporting requirements
- Support internal communications, newsletters, and annual reporting efforts
- Supervise and provide guidance to administrative support staff
- Develop and improve office workflows and administrative processes
- Serve as a professional point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional business education preferred
- 5+ years of executive support, office management, or administrative leadership experience
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Prior supervisory experience is a plus
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting senior executives or leadership teams
- Knowledge of nonprofit organizations, government agencies, or community-based organizations is a plus
