Senior Network Engineer
Responsibilities:
• Architect, deploy, and support enterprise network solutions that emphasize security, scalability, and consistent availability across distributed locations.
• Resolve advanced network and infrastructure incidents by performing deep technical analysis and restoring service in a high-uptime environment.
• Administer and optimize routing, switching, SD-WAN, and multi-vendor connectivity platforms to maintain strong network performance.
• Drive infrastructure initiatives such as hardware refreshes, platform enhancements, and long-term capacity planning efforts.
• Develop and strengthen disaster recovery and high-availability strategies to improve business continuity across critical systems.
• Oversee network monitoring, incident response, and technical documentation to ensure operational visibility and accurate support records.
• Partner with vendors, internal stakeholders, and leadership teams to align network architecture with business and technology goals.
• Provide guidance to less experienced team members, share technical knowledge, and contribute to overall team capability development.
Qualifications:
• 7+ years of experience working across network engineering, server infrastructure, and cloud-based environments.• Strong expertise in enterprise networking, including Cisco routers, Cisco networking technologies, BGP, and data center operations.
• Hands-on experience supporting multi-site environments with complex routing, switching, firewall, and connectivity needs.
• Background working with security technologies such as Palo Alto Firewall and Cisco ASA in enterprise settings.
• Familiarity with cloud and infrastructure platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Active Directory.
• Ability to lead technical projects independently while managing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
• Relevant industry certifications are valued and may include Cisco or other infrastructure-related credentials.
