Human Resources Administrator
We are looking for a Human Resources Administrator to support essential people operations for a hospitality organization in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. This Contract position focuses on coordinating key HR activities, maintaining accurate employment documentation, and helping create a smooth experience for candidates and employees. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, sound judgment when handling sensitive information, and practical experience with onboarding, compliance-related paperwork, and recruiting support.
Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day HR administrative activities, ensuring employee records, forms, and supporting documents are complete, accurate, and properly maintained.
• Coordinate background screening processes and follow up on required pre-employment steps to help move candidates efficiently through recruitment stages.
• Prepare, review, and track employment-related paperwork, including legal forms and official correspondence, with close attention to compliance and detail.
• Support onboarding activities by organizing new employee documentation, scheduling orientation-related tasks, and helping employees transition smoothly into their roles.
• Assist with benefit administration by responding to routine questions, processing related documents, and maintaining organized records for HR reference.
• Provide recruiting support through candidate communication, interview coordination, and administrative assistance tied to staffing efforts.
• Work with internal stakeholders to ensure HR processes are completed on time and in alignment with company policies and applicable requirements
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in human resources administration, HR coordination, or a similar support-focused role.• Hands-on knowledge of employment documentation, legal forms, and confidential record handling.
• Experience coordinating background checks and other pre-employment verification activities.
• Familiarity with onboarding processes, employee file management, and general benefit-related administration.
• Ability to draft and manage detail-oriented business or legal correspondence with accuracy and discretion.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with candidates, employees, and internal teams.
Compensation
