Assembler
Responsibilities:
• Assemble products in accordance with documented production methods, drawings, and work instructions.
• Support the production line by keeping work moving efficiently and assisting with day-to-day manufacturing needs.
• Inspect materials and finished units to detect defects or items that do not meet specifications, and report issues promptly.
• Follow quality and safety procedures consistently to ensure compliance with established manufacturing standards.
• Meet daily output expectations while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.
• Contribute ideas that improve workflow, reduce waste, and strengthen overall production performance.
• Troubleshoot assembly or production problems and work with supervisors or managers to reach effective solutions.
• Monitor material usage, recognize potential stock shortages, and communicate replenishment needs to the appropriate team.
• Assist with rework activities by identifying likely causes of product issues and helping correct them.
• Use tools, equipment, computers, and a walk-behind forklift as needed to complete assigned production tasks.
Qualifications:
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.• Ability to lift materials or products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to remain standing for extended periods, including full 8-hour shifts.
• Ability to follow written, verbal, and visual instructions with accuracy.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills required for production work.
• Comfortable using handheld and powered tools in an assembly setting.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new processes quickly.
Compensation
