Customer Service Representative
Responsibilities:
• Respond to incoming service inquiries, document customer needs, and enter work orders accurately into the company’s accounting system.
• Coordinate estimate requests and arrange appointments for sales team members based on customer availability and business priorities.
• Welcome customers visiting the office, assist with parts and accessory purchases, and complete payment transactions using cash, check, or credit card.
• Keep customers informed by providing timely updates on order progress, service timelines, and appointment details.
• Contact customers to confirm and schedule installation visits and service calls while maintaining an organized calendar.
• Communicate with field staff to relay messages, obtain job updates, and support efficient coordination between office and onsite teams.
• Perform detailed data entry for service documentation, invoices, customer information, inventory records, and stock-related updates.
• Maintain organized files for invoices, receipts, and job paperwork, while also supporting outgoing mail, office supply coordination, and general clerical tasks.
• Help maintain a well-organized office and showroom environment and provide support for promotional events, training activities, and other operational needs as assigned.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.• At least 1 year of experience in customer service, clerical support, administrative work, or a related office-based role.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and remain organized in a fast-moving work environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with solid judgment and problem-solving ability.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and comfort working independently, including occasional solo office coverage.
• Familiarity with inbound calls, outbound calls, order entry, and general customer support processes is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to complete pre-employment screening requirements.
Compensation
