Material Handler

We are looking for a dependable Material Handler to support warehouse and logistics operations in Santa Clara, California. This Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, stays organized in a fast-moving environment, and takes pride in accurate shipping and receiving activities. The role involves coordinating incoming and outgoing materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and helping ensure daily warehouse operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

Logistical Oversight: Coordinate, log, and process inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely fulfillment.

Data Management: Maintain highly accurate inventory and shipping records using C-tec software (training provided).

Documentation & Compliance: Inspect incoming manifests, verify packing slips against physical inventory, and process shipping documentation.

Inventory Coordination: Support materials management by tracking stock levels, organizing digital records, and facilitating routine inventory counts.

Vendor & Courier Liaison: Communicate with carriers and delivery drivers to coordinate pickup and drop-off schedules.

Qualifications:

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in logistics coordination, shipping/receiving administration, inventory control, or a related environment.

Tech-Savvy: Comfortable learning and utilizing inventory management systems (like C-tec) and standard office software.

Physical Demands: Ability to handle light-to-moderate physical tasks typical of a desk-and-warehouse hybrid role, including occasionally lifting packages up to 20–25 lbs.
