Marketing Assistant

We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to support day-to-day promotional efforts for a construction and contractor-focused organization in Troy, Michigan. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who can coordinate campaigns, assist with events, and help maintain a consistent brand presence across digital and direct outreach channels. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to marketing initiatives that strengthen audience engagement and support business growth.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with the planning, execution, and follow-up of email marketing initiatives to reach target audiences effectively.
• Support the coordination of marketing events, including scheduling, logistics, materials preparation, and on-site assistance as needed.
• Contribute to a variety of promotional projects by helping organize content, timelines, and campaign assets.
• Help develop and distribute direct marketing materials that align with campaign goals and brand standards.
• Maintain and update social media content to promote company services, events, and key announcements.
• Track marketing activities and provide administrative support to help ensure projects move forward on schedule.
• Work with internal team members to gather information and prepare materials for ongoing outreach efforts.

Qualifications:

• Experience supporting email campaigns and related marketing communications.
• Ability to assist with event coordination and handle multiple logistics tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with general marketing activities, including campaign support and content coordination.
• Understanding of direct marketing methods and execution of outreach materials.
• Experience managing or updating social media platforms in a work setting.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in a collaborative work environment.

Compensation

$19.79-$22.91 Hourly
