Legal Assistant

Robert Half is partnering with a Public-Sector Organization looking for a Legal Assistant to join a law office on a 3-month contract assignment. This onsite role supports attorneys and daily office operations four days per week, offering a steady schedule in a collaborative, service-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day office support activities, including receiving mail, maintaining supply inventory, and welcoming visitors in a detail-oriented manner.
• Organize, scan, and upload records while ensuring files are accurately stored within the document management system.
• Enter billing and related information into the firm’s software platform, with training provided as needed.
• Participate in meetings to capture clear notes and distribute information that supports follow-up actions.
• Conduct legal or general background research to assist attorneys and staff with ongoing matters.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

• Demonstrated legal support experience in a law firm or corporate setting.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and consistently.
• Ability to work in an in-office setting 4 days a week for 10 hour shifts.

The salary range for this position is $26-32/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
