Attorney/Lawyer
Responsibilities:
• Provide legal support on employment defense matters, including work related to wrongful termination claims.
• Prepare, review, and manage pleadings, filings, and supporting case documents to ensure accuracy and timely submission.
• Monitor case calendars, deadlines, and outstanding action items so matters continue progressing without delay.
• Partner with clients to gather records, confirm required materials, and keep deliverables aligned with case needs.
• Assist with day-to-day case management activities across employment law matters.
• Contribute to litigation tasks such as motion drafting, briefing preparation, and discovery support as needed.
Qualifications:
• Active admission to the California Bar is required.• Prior experience practicing California employment law is required.
• Background in employment defense work is required.
• Strong ability to organize legal documents, manage competing deadlines, and maintain close attention to detail.
• Experience supporting litigation matters is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with civil litigation processes, including drafting motions, briefing, and discovery, is highly valued.
