HR Generalist

We are looking for an HR Generalist to support core human resources operations for a Long-term Contract position based in Jacksonville, Florida. This role will contribute to a positive employee experience by assisting with employee relations matters, onboarding activities, benefits administration, and day-to-day HR support. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism.

Responsibilities:
• Support employees and managers with routine HR questions, policy guidance, and general workplace concerns.
• Coordinate onboarding activities to help new hires complete required documentation and transition smoothly into their roles.
• Administer benefits-related processes, including employee communications, enrollment support, and issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate personnel records and update HR data in the company’s human resources information system.
• Assist with employee relations matters by gathering information, documenting issues, and escalating concerns when appropriate.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure HR administrative tasks are completed accurately and within established timelines.
• Prepare HR documentation such as employment letters, status changes, and other employee-related records.

Qualifications:

• Experience supporting employee relations, HR administration, onboarding, and benefits processes.
• Working knowledge of human resources policies, procedures, and standard documentation practices.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms and the ability to maintain accurate employee data.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally across all levels of an organization.
• High level of discretion when handling confidential employee and business information.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

$30.09-$34.84 Hourly
