Sales Support Specialist

We are looking for a Sales Support Specialist to join a manufacturing team in Greenville, South Carolina on a Contract basis. This position supports daily supply chain operations by coordinating order activity, monitoring inventory movement, and helping maintain smooth communication with vendors and internal partners. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate purchase order processing and follow up on order status to help ensure timely fulfillment.
• Monitor inventory activity, review stock levels, and flag discrepancies that may affect customer or operational needs.
• Maintain accurate vendor records and support communication with multiple suppliers to keep information current and organized.
• Track incoming and outgoing shipments, including drop-ship and export orders, to support efficient delivery execution.
• Assist with logistics-related documentation and update internal systems to reflect order, shipment, and inventory changes.
• Work with cross-functional teams such as supply chain, accounting, and sales support to resolve transactional issues and improve workflow visibility.
• Support ongoing operational initiatives related to supply chain processes as business needs evolve.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in sales support, supply chain, logistics, or a related operational role.
• Working knowledge of purchase order management, inventory tracking, and vendor coordination.
• Experience handling multiple vendors and supporting shipment activity in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Familiarity with drop-shipments and export shipment processes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to review inventory data and identify inconsistencies.
• Proficiency with business systems and spreadsheets used for order and inventory management.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-through skills in a deadline-driven setting.

Compensation

$21.85-$25.30 Hourly
