Accounting Manager
We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join a long-term contract opportunity based in Huntersville, North Carolina. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting leader who can step into a fast-paced global environment and quickly take ownership of complex consolidation activities. The position will play a central role in delivering accurate monthly financial reporting, coordinating external audit activity, and supporting a lean team with significant international operations.
Responsibilities:
• Direct the monthly global consolidations.
• Manage accounting activities across a multi-currency structure, including review of foreign currency impacts and functional currency treatment.
• Prepare and validate consolidated financial statements on schedule for internal stakeholders and lender reporting needs.
• Serve as the primary contact for external auditors, coordinating requests, resolving questions efficiently, and helping keep the audit on track.
• Oversee month-end close deliverables tied to the general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and related accounting records.
• Partner with leadership to strengthen reporting quality and provide reliable financial information across international operations.
• Work independently in a lean accounting organization, taking ownership of priorities with minimal onboarding or supervision.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience leading consolidations across multiple legal entities in a global business environment.
• Strong background working with multi-currency accounting and functional currency considerations.
• Hands-on expertise in month-end close, general ledger management, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Demonstrated success supporting or leading financial statement audits and working directly with external auditors.
• Ability to produce timely, accurate consolidated reporting for management and external stakeholders.
• Experience operating effectively in a lean team where immediate contribution is required.
• Excellent judgment, organization, and communication skills in complex international accounting settings.
Compensation
