HR Generalist
We are looking for an HR Generalist to support a busy healthcare organization in Los Angeles, California. This HR Generalist position will serve as a key resource for employees and leaders by helping maintain effective HR operations, strengthening workforce practices, and promoting compliance across daily activities. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in employee relations, onboarding, HR administration, and data accuracy, along with the ability to collaborate across departments in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as a primary HR contact for staff and supervisors by answering questions, interpreting workplace guidelines, and helping resolve routine personnel matters.
• Contribute to employee relations efforts by assisting with fact-finding, documenting concerns, and supporting follow-up actions as needed.
• Coordinate recruitment and new employee setup activities, while also supporting transfers, status changes, and other workforce updates.
• Maintain organized and accurate employee information within HR systems and personnel records to support reliable reporting and compliance.
• Assist leaders with performance review activities, employee development planning, and related administrative follow-through.
• Monitor HR practices to help ensure alignment with employment laws, regulatory requirements, and internal standards.
• Support benefit-related and employee program administration, including communication and routine coordination of HR initiatives.
• Help update HR policies, procedures, and training materials to keep documentation current and practical for organizational use.
• Track mandatory licenses, certifications, and training completion to help departments maintain workforce readiness.
• Prepare HR reports, monitor key data points, and recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency across HR functions.

• Experience supporting employee relations matters, including documentation and issue resolution with careful attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of core HR administration processes such as onboarding, recordkeeping, and workforce changes.
• Familiarity with benefit functions and general employee program support.
• Proficiency using HRIS platforms and maintaining accurate personnel data.
• Understanding of employment law, workplace compliance standards, and HR policy application.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and communicate effectively with employees and managers.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in reporting, tracking, and maintaining records.
Compensation
