Real Estate Transactional Attorney
Responsibilities:
• Advise clients on real estate transactions involving affordable housing, community development, and economic development initiatives.
• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, financing documents, operating agreements, and other transaction-related contracts.
• Lead key components of deal structuring, due diligence, and closing processes for acquisitions, dispositions, and development projects.
• Counsel nonprofit organizations, for-profit entities, and public agencies on ownership structures, tax considerations, and regulatory obligations.
• Support matters involving government funding programs, subsidies, and compliance requirements connected to housing and development projects.
• Provide legal guidance on rental housing operations and affordable housing program rules throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to move transactions forward efficiently and resolve legal issues as they arise.
Qualifications:
• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California.• At least 3 years of legal experience focused on real estate transactional work.
• Demonstrated background representing nonprofit organizations, private companies, or public agencies in property-related matters.
• Working knowledge of affordable housing, community development, or economic development transactions.
• Experience handling real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financing arrangements, and closing documentation.
• Ability to manage substantial portions of complex transactions with a high degree of independence.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and client advisory skills.
Compensation
$150,000.00-$195,000.00 YearlyAbout Us
