Senior Financial Business Analyst
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with finance leaders, operational stakeholders, and technology teams to shape enterprise data warehouse solutions that improve reporting, planning, and business insight.
• Convert business needs into practical data designs, including data models, mapping rules, transformation logic, and reporting frameworks that support long-term scalability.
• Contribute to the creation and upkeep of data pipelines, semantic models, and analytical structures that align with business workflows and performance measures.
• Establish and reinforce data governance practices by defining standards, policies, controls, and procedures that promote consistency, compliance, and data reliability.
• Lead initiatives that strengthen data quality by addressing accuracy, lineage visibility, stewardship responsibilities, and ownership across key datasets.
• Maintain shared business definitions, enterprise data dictionaries, metric standards, and reporting guidelines to support a consistent source of financial truth.
• Act as a central point of coordination between functional teams and technical resources, translating complex data topics into clear business recommendations and prioritized requirements.
• Encourage stakeholder adoption of reporting and analytics solutions through effective communication, change support, and the use of modern analytical capabilities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning efforts by delivering integrated data insights and analytical tools that improve decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to expand the strategic value of enterprise data by enhancing governance maturity, refining architecture, and informing future data roadmap priorities.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, finance transformation, or data-driven finance roles.
• Demonstrated background in data warehousing concepts and dimensional data modeling.
• Experience applying data governance frameworks, standards, and supporting tools in an enterprise environment.
• Ability to work effectively across business functions and technical teams while managing competing priorities.
• Familiarity with enterprise financial systems such as SAP or Oracle and experience working within data warehouse environments.
• Proficiency with business intelligence platforms, including Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.
• Advanced Excel capabilities and strong financial modeling skills.
Compensation
