Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified Database Management Analyst III to support the Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC PAC) and the Program Executive Office Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (PEO C4I). This role directly supports critical modernization, planning, and synchronized fielding of PEO C4I systems. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in administering, testing, and implementing computer databases to support Front Office operations. This includes vital tracking, reporting, and management support across the Navy Modernization Process, Advance Planning, Baseline Management, Design Management, Systems Engineering, and Acquisition Management.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, test, and implement computer databases in alignment with DoD and Navy modernization requirements 
  • Coordinate complex changes to computer databases and support systems utilized for Ship Change Document (SCD) initiation, submission, and tracking through the Navy Modernization Process.
  • Utilize and manage databases to provide standardized preparation, tracking, and status updates of all phases and types of Permanent and Non-Permanent SCDs, ensuring linkage between systems like SPIDER/RIPTIDE and the Navy Data Environment (NDE) 
  • Support process improvements for fielded platforms and maintain platform/operational capability builds by identifying and documenting requirements for enterprise advance planning databases and tools (e.g., CAPS and SPIDER/RIPTIDE)
  • Provide corrective input, perform database analysis, and ensure Baseline Management accuracy through database inputs for modernization planning to optimize the Configuration Management, Platform Configuration Control Board, and Document Management Modules within SPIDER/RIPTIDE
  • Provide vital data management and tracking support across the production phase, test events, and acquisition milestones, tracking engineering documentation updates resulting from the ECP process, and updating, maintaining, and managing designated acquisition data resources, tools, and websites.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement robust security measures to safeguard critical PEO C4I computer databases and modernization planning data

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Ten (10) years of professional experience administering, testing, and implementing computer databases, preferably within the DoD/Department of the Navy 
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Navy modernization and configuration management databases such as SPIDER, RIPTIDE, and NDE is highly desired.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance required walking in the door. TS/SCI clearance is preferred

Basic Compensation: $74,000 - $145,000 per year

The salary range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. The final offer may vary based on skills, experience, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity. Additional compensation may include performance incentives and program-specific awards. We do not use salary history to determine compensation, in line with applicable law.
