Overview

Horton, Inc., has an opening for a Flex Operator to work in our Westminster, SC location. This is a Temporary assignment and the standard work hours are Monday-Thursday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, with overtime, as needed. This position starts at $19.50 per hour and depends on experience.

 

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for various job such as assembling fans, balancing fans, and molding fans.

Responsibilities

Flex Operator Job Responsibilities:

  • Will be expected to be able to perform daily tasks including following standard work to assemble product using machinery and/or hand tools. 
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions and blueprint specifications.
  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Verifies quality specifications by measuring completed component/product.
  • Responsible for the operation and set-up of all simple and complex machines within their assigned area.
  • Ensure data accuracy before transacting in inventory system.
  • Elevate issues or suspected discrepancies to management.
  • Will be required to fill in as Operator in other departments as directed/rotated.


Qualifications



Qualifications:

  • Previous relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Attention to detail is a must.
  • Must be able to work with hand tools and other machinery.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to work well in a group and individually.
  • Some degree of mechanical aptitude may be required.  
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
