A3 Consulting is seeking a creative and technical is seeking an experienced SAFe Scrum Master to drive Agile software delivery. If you enjoy serving as the primary facilitator and servant-leader for DevSecOps engineering teams tasked with building critical applications and migrating legacy workflows, this role is for you!
In this Job You Will:
- Champion Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies, clear development blockers, and ensure the continuous, predictable delivery of high-value capabilities.
- Facilitate all standard SAFe Agile ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, Scrum of Scrums, and Program Increment (PI) planning sessions.
- Coach the engineering team in continuous integration and user-centered design principles, incorporating feedback via Inspect and Adapt activities.
- Facilitate distributed meetings and maintain effective communication protocols with the Government, mission partners, and cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate closely with the Government Product Owner (GPO), Agile Business Analysts, and development teams to construct, estimate, and incrementally refine the backlog of features and user stories.
- Ensure rigorous backlog readiness by verifying that 80% or more of backlog items are well-defined, estimated, and prioritized for the upcoming two sprints.
- Track and enforce Agile performance metrics, ensuring team velocity predictability remains at or above 95% across iterations.
- Monitor and optimize the average Cycle Time and Lead Time for Change to accelerate the deployment of capabilities into production.
- Manage and track all application requirements, dependencies, and risk identification metrics utilizing Government-directed Agile tools, specifically Jira, GitLab, and Confluence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM), or equivalent Agile certification required.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience acting as a Scrum Master within a DoD framework or software factory DevSecOps environment.
- Proven experience managing software development programs utilizing a demonstrable Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology.
- Deep, hands-on expertise managing sprint boards, backlogs, and performance dashboards using Jira and Confluence.
- Strong servant-leadership mindset with excellent interpersonal, facilitation, conflict-resolution, and organizational skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Understanding of the Department of Defense (DoD) Software Acquisition Pathway and continuous user engagement mechanisms.
Clearance Level:
- Must possess an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Location:
- Remote (DC Metro Area)
Salary Range:
- The salary range of this position is $130,000 - $150,000 commensurate with experience and achievement.
