Description
Position: Project Document Control Administrator
Travel: Primary location Long Bridge Project Crystal City VA
Pay Range: $ Based on experience
We are currently seeking a Project Document Control Administrator to join our Wagman Heavy Civil, Inc. team. Reporting to Project Supervision, the Project Document Control Administrator is responsible for assisting the entire project team with project documentation to include but not limited to organizing and processing a variety of company and owner documents for a large design build construction project. This position works along with the entire Project Team to support the completion of the Long Bridge construction project and helps ensure all plans move forward to meet projected deadlines.
This is a safety sensitive position requiring work on construction sites with various safety hazards inherent in heavy construction.
This position is subject to drug testing and compliance policies associated with our status as a Federal Contractor.

Qualifications:
• 4-year Degree or 5 years office management experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and electronic document management systems such as Kahua, Procure, or Aconex is required.
• Experience with additional software and prior work in a construction environment are preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented
Essential Functions
• Organizing and processing a variety of company and owner documents for a large design-build project including but not limited to designer documents, design changes, transmittals, submittals, RFI’s and working on multiple tasks and shifting priorities simultaneously and managing deadlines.
• Management of Kahua Document control system.
• Manage version control of design drawings and specifications to ensure outdated information is not being utilized by the project personnel.
• Follow-up and coordination of various documents with owners, other contractors, home office support departments, and field personnel for projects.
• Provide training and assistance to field supervisors and office staff in document flow and procedures as well as employee sign-up documents and the review of payroll records.
• Varied responsibilities encompassing projects from beginning to end.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s/groups direction.
Physical Requirements of the Essential Functions
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds from ground level to waist level.
• Must be able to bend, squat, and kneel occasionally throughout a scheduled work shift.
• Must be able to climb ladders.
• Continuous standing and walking required throughout a scheduled work shift.
• Must be able to perform simple grasping and fine manipulation tasks with both hands.
• Must be able to work outdoors in wet, muddy, cold, hot and humid weather.
• Acceptable corrected vision (in both eyes) and acceptable corrected hearing required.
