Grant Coordinator

Compensation: $25 to $30 Hourly

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support grant accounting and community program operations for a dynamic organization in Nashville. This role will play a key part in tracking financial activity, coordinating payments, and maintaining accurate records across employee engagement and charitable initiatives.


Responsibilities:

• Prepare recurring monthly reports that summarize program participation, volunteer activity, grant spending, and event engagement across community and employee-focused initiatives.

• Administer outgoing payments for grants and vendor invoices, ensuring timely processing and close coordination with finance stakeholders.

• Oversee the day-to-day management of the employee volunteering and charitable giving platform, including dashboard monitoring and record accuracy.

• Organize and support local volunteer opportunities tied to company-based community engagement efforts in Nashville, Tennessee.

• Review and process employee gift matching requests, including approvals, issue resolution, and follow-up on exceptions.

• Maintain documentation and financial tracking records to support grant administration, payment activity, and program reporting.

• Assist with troubleshooting operational issues related to community giving and volunteer programs while helping maintain a smooth participant experience.


Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in grant management, grant administration, or a related accounting or fund support role.
• Working knowledge of fund administration, accounts payable processes, and basic bookkeeping principles.
• Experience preparing accurate reports and reconciling program or financial activity data.
• Ability to manage payment workflows, including grant disbursements and vendor transactions, with strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with dashboard management or administrative oversight of employee giving, volunteer, or similar engagement platforms.
• Understanding of NAV (Net Asset Value) concepts is preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills in a deadline-driven environment.

Compensation

$25.00-$30.00 Hourly
