Administrative Assistant (Contract) – Tax Services Company | Shelton, CT
A tax services company in Shelton, CT is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting daily office operations, managing administrative tasks, and providing excellent service in a professional financial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct incoming calls, emails, and client inquiries
- Schedule appointments, maintain calendars, and coordinate meetings
- Prepare, organize, and file client and tax-related documentation
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in internal systems
- Assist with scanning, copying, mailing, and other clerical duties
- Support office organization, supply management, and general administrative workflow
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive client and financial information
- Provide additional administrative support to the team as needed
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Previous administrative assistant, office support, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Professional communication skills and customer-focused approach
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional business or office training is a plus
