Data Entry Clerk

We are looking for a detail-focused Data Entry Clerk to support accurate and timely information processing for a Contract position in Hamilton, New Jersey. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with large volumes of data, maintaining consistency, and using computer systems with precision. The right candidate will bring strong typing skills, a careful approach to record handling, and a commitment to data accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Enter, update, and maintain information in computer-based systems with a high degree of accuracy.
• Review source documents carefully to ensure data is complete, consistent, and properly formatted before input.
• Verify entered records and correct discrepancies to keep databases reliable and up to date.
• Organize digital information so files, records, and entries can be easily retrieved when needed.
• Monitor assigned data entry tasks to meet productivity expectations and deadlines.
• Communicate issues involving missing or unclear information to the appropriate team members for resolution.
• Follow established procedures for handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in data entry or other clerical work involving high-volume record processing.
• Strong typing ability with consistent speed and accuracy.
• Proficiency using computers and standard data entry systems or office software.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot errors quickly.
• Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining quality throughout the workday.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize assigned work effectively.
• Dependable communication skills and a collaborative approach to team collaboration.

Compensation

$21.00-$22.00 Hourly
