HR Generalist
Our client is seeking an experienced HR Generalist who is ready for the next step in their career and eager to help build and grow an HR function in a hands-on environment. They are looking for a motivated, hungry professional who wants to make an impact, identify gaps, improve processes, and help support a growing organization.
This position will work closely with the company’s existing HR leadership and will touch many areas of human resources, including employee relations, recruiting support, HR systems, process improvement, and general HR operations. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys being both strategic and hands-on, comfortable walking the floor, engaging with employees, and adapting to the needs of a fast-paced, around-the-clock operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support a wide range of HR functions across the organization
- Assist with hiring processes, including recruiting coordination, interviewing support, and onboarding
- Partner with leadership to identify process gaps and implement improvements
- Help build and strengthen HR systems, workflows, and best practices
- Maintain and leverage HRIS systems effectively; ADP experience is strongly preferred
- Create, track, and analyze HR data, reporting, and dashboards
- Use Excel to manage data and provide insights, including functions such as VLOOKUP and dashboard reporting
- Support employee relations and serve as a visible HR presence throughout the organization
- Work cross-functionally with employees and leaders in a hands-on environment
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience in a Generalist or similar HR role
- Strong HRIS and systems experience; must be tech-savvy and comfortable navigating HR platforms
- ADP experience highly preferred
- Experience identifying process gaps and helping implement solutions
- Strong Excel skills, including dashboards, reporting, and VLOOKUPs
- Experience supporting hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and general HR operations
- Prior implementation experience is a strong plus
- Manufacturing or healthcare industry experience highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred, but not required
Compensation
