Loan Processor - Support

An organization in Meriden, CT is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Processor on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a professional with strong administrative and financial documentation skills who can help support the loan process from application through approval.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review loan applications for completeness and accuracy
• Collect, verify, and organize supporting financial and personal documentation
• Communicate with applicants, loan officers, underwriters, and third parties to obtain required information
• Maintain accurate loan files and update information in internal systems
• Monitor loan pipeline and help ensure deadlines are met throughout the process
• Identify missing documentation or discrepancies and follow up for resolution
• Support compliance with company policies and lending regulations
• Provide general administrative support related to loan processing activities

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in loan processing, mortgage processing, banking operations, or financial services preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and loan processing systems
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in finance, business, or a related field is a plus
