Compensation & Benefits Specialist

We are looking for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist to support employee rewards and leave administration for a Contract position based in Phoenix, Arizona. This role focuses on coordinating benefit programs, reviewing compensation and benefits data, and helping ensure employees receive accurate and timely support. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical ability, practical knowledge of leave processes such as FMLA, and a detail-oriented approach to benefits operations.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate day-to-day benefit activities, including enrollment support, employee updates, and issue resolution across available programs.
• Review compensation and benefits information to identify discrepancies, support reporting, and help maintain accurate records.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external providers to address benefit questions and improve service delivery.
• Administer leave-related processes, including FMLA tracking, documentation follow-up, and compliance support.
• Analyze benefit usage and program data to assist with recommendations, audits, and ongoing process improvements.
• Prepare clear communication materials that explain compensation and benefit offerings to employees and managers.
• Maintain organized documentation for benefits administration, policy updates, and required compliance reporting.

Qualifications:

• Experience working in compensation and benefits administration, benefits coordination, or a closely related HR function.
• Knowledge of core benefit functions, including enrollments, employee support, and vendor communication.
• Familiarity with benefits analysis and the ability to interpret data with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of FMLA and related leave administration practices.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and confidential information responsibly.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with employees, vendors, and internal teams.

Compensation

$41.56-$48.13 Hourly
