Controller

Our client in Hadley, MA is seeking an experienced and strategic Controller to lead core accounting and financial operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on finance leader who can oversee day-to-day accounting functions, strengthen internal controls, support business decision-making, and help drive operational efficiency across the organization. Based on general knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee core accounting and controllership activities to ensure accurate financial reporting and reliable internal controls.

• Support NetSuite implementation efforts by helping organize data, validate records, and coordinate finance-related documentation needs.

• Review, compile, and maintain financial documents to promote completeness, consistency, and audit readiness.

• Manage document control processes, including the proper handling, filing, and retention of accounting records.

• Perform document scanning and digital record maintenance to improve accessibility and support efficient information management.

• Partner with stakeholders to track financial information, resolve documentation gaps, and keep reporting materials current.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or controllership roles.
• Demonstrated background in a Controller or similar senior-level financial position.
• Experience supporting work related to NetSuite within a finance or accounting environment.
• Strong skills in document control, document compilation, and records organization.
• Proficiency in scanning, digitizing, and maintaining business or financial documents.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage sensitive information professionally.

Compensation

$51.46-$59.59 Hourly
