Accounts Receivable Clerk
Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day accounts receivable activities, ensuring invoices are prepared accurately and aligned with required documentation standards.
• Record and apply incoming customer payments while maintaining precise account balances and supporting timely follow-up on outstanding items.
• Process paper checks through a remote deposit capture system and help keep cash receipts current and properly documented.
• Assist with bank account reconciliations and support routine cash management tasks to promote accurate financial reporting.
• Organize and maintain hard-copy and electronic files so financial and operational records remain complete, accessible, and audit-ready.
• Provide office administrative support as needed to help the site operate efficiently and maintain smooth daily workflows.
• Use Sage and Excel to update records, track receivable activity, and support reporting needs.
• Contribute to recordkeeping and process consistency as the business continues to expand and integrate acquired operations.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in accounts receivable, including invoicing, cash application, and payment posting.• Working knowledge of commercial collections and billing practices in a business environment that requires close attention to detail.
• Ability to process financial transactions with strong accuracy and close attention to detail.
• Experience supporting bank reconciliations, cash handling, or related accounting activities.
• Proficiency with Excel and comfort learning or using accounting systems such as Sage.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage both physical and digital documentation.
• Ability to work onsite in Phoenix, Arizona, Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
Compensation
