Senior IT Technician
Robert Half is seeking an IT Support Technician to join a growing Managed Services Provider (MSP) supporting residential and small business clients throughout the Bellevue area. This is a highly hands-on role focused on in-person technical support, break/fix troubleshooting, hardware repairs, workstation deployments, and customer service. The ideal candidate enjoys working directly with end users and solving a wide variety of technical issues in Windows and MacOS environments.
Location: Bellevue, WA (100% Onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Duration: Contract-to-Hire (if applicable)
Pay rate: up to $30/hourly (W2)
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite and walk-up technical support for residential and small business customers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and peripheral issues.
- Diagnose and repair desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Replace damaged hardware components, including laptop screens and other internal parts.
- Build, configure, and deploy new desktop and custom PC systems.
- Perform workstation setup, imaging, software installations, and user onboarding.
- Manage and document support requests using ConnectWise.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while resolving technical issues in person.
- Troubleshoot connectivity and networking issues in small business environments.
- Support and maintain Ubiquiti UniFi networking equipment and wireless environments.
- Escalate complex technical issues when necessary and collaborate with other technical teams.
Qualifications:
- Experience working in an MSP, Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Field Technician environment.
- Strong troubleshooting experience supporting Windows and MacOS systems.
- Hands-on experience with hardware break/fix, repairs, and deployments.
- Experience providing in-person end-user support and customer-facing technical assistance.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, preferably ConnectWise.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting residential customers and small business environments.
- Familiarity with Ubiquiti UniFi networking technologies.
- Basic networking knowledge, including wireless troubleshooting, routers, switches, and connectivity issues.
- Experience building and configuring custom PCs.
Compensation
