Accounts Receivable Specialist – Brea, CA

Our client in Brea is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist with NetSuite experience to support their accounting team and help drive efficient cash flow operations. What You'll Do:

• Process daily cash receipts and apply payments accurately to customer accounts
• Generate and distribute customer invoices in a timely manner
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and account inquiries
• Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely invoice processing and collections
• Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts receivable
• Support reporting and maintain strong internal controls over receivables

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
• Experience working in NetSuite is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of billing, cash applications, and collections
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
• Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• Experience in accounts receivable, billing, and commercial collections.
• Working knowledge of cash application processes and account reconciliation practices.
• Ability to analyze aging reports and take appropriate action on past-due accounts.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accurate data entry and documentation.
• Effective communication skills for handling customer billing questions professionally.
• Familiarity with customer credit paperwork and tax exemption certificate management.
• Proficiency with standard accounting systems and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.

Compensation

$55,000.00-$60,000.00 Yearly
